For me and my observations ALONSO has been the best driver out there since SENA and still is. WEBBER had problems with Red Bull who clearly favored VETTEL at the time. RICARDO was faster than VERSTAPPEN often. RED BULL strategy of stuffing up RICCARDO's, P3, race tactics, tyre selections and changes in the pits are legendary. At the time VERSTAPPEN was the most dangerous and caused the most accidents of any driver over a 3yr. period in F1; yet most of the time he only received a caution. Naturally RICCARDO was "pissed off" as was WEBBER; they had to turn the other cheek and not bite the "hand that fed them" and walk away. Remember RICCARDO in tyre testing early this year, his times were similar to VERSTAPPEN in similar cars, that's why he was offered the Red Bull 2nd Team position. The thing ALONSO has over the other drivers is "HE HAS A BRAIN IN HIS HEAD" and tends to show up the other "DRIVERS" w.r.t DRIVING SKILLS and UTILIZING his "GREY MATTER".21-04-2024 06:15

At the 2015 Monaco Grand Prix, Verstappen was involved in a high-speed collision with Romain Grosjean, after clipping the back of the Lotus on the approach to Sainte Devote and flew nose-first into the barriers at high speed. Verstappen was given a five-place grid penalty for causing the accident, and was branded "dangerous" by Williams driver Felipe Massa . In 2018 the first six races of the season, Verstappen had been involved in at least one incident in each race and continued ever season since then. Verstappen was and is considered as the most dangerous driver in F1 by many of his peers. Why the pundits have such short memories beat me. The overhead shot of the incident between Verstappen and Hamilton showed that Hamilton maintained a straight path and was past the middle of Verstappene's car, when Verstappen cut across in front of Hamilton. If the F1 rules mean anything the wrong driver was penalized and it is time Verstappen was read the riot act before he either kills some one or himself.04-08-2021 12:21
